PEDESTRIAN TICKETS HINTERTUX GLACIER

With your online booking, you can go directly to the turnstiles at the stations. Simply hold the QR code up to the reader and your Hintertux Glacier experience can begin.

Important information

How do I get my ticket?

The barcode you receive after ordering is your valid ticket. Please scan the barcode directly at the turnstiles for boarding.

It is not possible to collect tickets from ticket offices or pick-up machines.

Ascent and descent ticket:

In Hintertux, depending on the ticket you choose, you can travel once to the destination station and back. During operating hours, you can choose how long you want to stay at the individual stations (Sommerberg, Tuxer Fernerhaus, Gefrorene Wand).

A discounted ticket for the Gefrorene Wand ascent and descent is available at the ticket offices from 11:45 am (Panoramaticket Faszination Eis)

Ascent ticket:

This ticket only includes ascent from the valley station.

Family special:

Children under the age of 10 years go free if accompanied by an adult.

General information: Dogs are transported free of charge on all our trains. Dogs must be kept on a lead.

With your online ticket, you can go directly to the turnstiles at the stations. Simply hold the QR code up to the reader and your Hintertux Glacier experience can begin.

Select your preferred date and ticket type – and nothing will stand in the way of your Hintertux Glacier experience. The following ticket options are available::

Ascent & Descent to Gefrorene Wand (3rd section): Attractions at 3,250 m: – Panorama Terrace – Nature’s Ice Palace (admission not included in the lift ticket) – Luis’ Glacier Bug Park with snow tubing run and snow carousel

Ascent & Descent to Tuxer Fernerhaus (2nd section): Attractions at 2,660 m: – Restaurants – Spannagel Cave (natural monument; admission not included in the lift ticket) – Meeting point for glacier tours (registration required)

Ascent & Descent to Sommerberg (1st section): Attractions at 2,100 m: – Restaurants – Luis’ Glacier Bug & Marble Run Safari – Hiking and biking area

Ascent to Sommerberg only: A relaxed gondola ride up to 2,100 m, followed by a scenic hike back down to Hintertux

Opening hours Hintertux Glacier: Open 365 days a year from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Last descent from Gefrorene Wand, 3,250 m: 4:00 p.m.)

Bike transport is available up to Sommerberg (2,100 m) only.

The Zillertal Activcard includes the ascent up to the 1st section (2,100 m).
