Early Bird Skiing at Hintertux Glacier
The first gondola departs at 7:30 AM to 3,250m. You'll carve the first turns on freshly groomed & untouched slopes with a unique sunrise atmosphere at Olperer. Afterwards, a balanced breakfast awaits you at Wirtshaus am Tuxer Ferner.
Description
For the select group of "Early Birds", the first gondola heads up the mountain at 7:30 AM. The white carpet is rolled out, with exclusive use of the ski area reserved for early risers. What a goosebump moment at 3,250 m! To warm up, we split into small groups and ski the first two runs together. Afterwards, there's a short coffee stop at Tuxer Fernerhaus**,** before the entire ski area opens and everyone carves down their favorite slopes or continues riding with the group. The gondola rides can be used to ask employees of the glacier railway questions about the ski area, the glacier, and the surrounding mountain world. For refreshments, we invite you to breakfast at Wirtshaus am Tuxer Ferner from 10:00 AM. The perfect start to the day - join us!
